Street Drags is a single-player racing game that works completely offline. It collects nothing about you unless you deliberately create an online account, and even then it only stores what the online modes need.
The short version. No ads. No analytics. No tracking. No advertising identifiers. No location. No contacts, photos, files, camera or microphone. If you never sign in, nothing about you ever leaves your device.
1. Who we are

2. Playing offline — the default
The game is fully playable without an account and without a network connection. In this mode your career, garage, cars, parts, tuning and best times are saved only on your own device, in the app's private storage. We cannot see that data, and it is removed when you uninstall the app.
3. Creating an online account — optional
If you choose to sign in to use leaderboards, ghost racing or grudge races, an account is created on our server. This is the only situation in which personal data is collected.

What we never collect
- Your real name, address, phone number or date of birth
- Your location, at any precision
- Contacts, photos, files, calendar, camera or microphone
- Advertising IDs, device IDs or any cross-app identifier
- Payment or financial information — the game has no in-app purchases
- Browsing history or a list of your other installed apps
4. What other players can see
If you sign in, other players can see your handle, your crew name, your car colour, your rating, your win/loss record and your recorded times and ghost runs. That is the point of the boards.
Your email address is never shown to other players and is never included in any public profile the service returns.
There is no chat, no direct messaging and no voice in Street Drags, so there is no way for another player to contact you through the game.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or analytics companies. There are no third-party advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services in the app.
Data is disclosed outside the service only where we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to protect the service against abuse.
6. How data is protected
- All traffic between the game and our server uses HTTPS.
- Passwords are stored as salted hashes, never in readable form.
- Sessions use short-lived tokens that the app refreshes automatically.
No system is perfectly secure, but the amount of personal data held here is deliberately small — a handle and, if you supplied one, an email address.
7. How long data is kept
Account data is kept while the account exists. If you delete your account, it and its associated race data are removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain something by law. Local save data on your device lives until you delete it or uninstall the game.
8. Your rights and choices
- Play without an account. The complete game works with no data collection at all.
- Access and correction. Ask us for a copy of what your account holds, or ask us to correct it.
- Deletion. Delete your account at any time via the account deletion page.
- Local data. Clear the app's storage or uninstall the game to remove everything held on your device.
If you are in the EEA or UK, our lawful basis for processing account data is performance of a contract — providing the online features you asked for. If you are in South Africa, this policy is written to meet POPIA. To make a request under any of these, email christianfourie60@gmail.com.
9. Children
Street Drags is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The game itself is suitable for all ages; the restriction applies only to creating an online account. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top, and where the change affects data already held, we will note what changed.
