Ten thousand dollars and a car that is not fast yet. That is the whole start.
A drag racing game about the part most racing games skip — the build. You buy a real car, you spend what is left on parts, and you find out on the quarter mile whether you spent it right.
Whatever you do not spend on the car, you keep for parts. A cheap car you can afford to build is a different bet from an expensive one you cannot.
Thirty-six parts per car — intake, fuel, exhaust, internals, forced induction, drivetrain, tyres, weight. Go naturally aspirated and chase revs, or convert to turbo and chase boost.
Fit engine management, dampers, a better diff or stickier tyres and their settings appear on the setup sheet. Then clock it yourself on a free test run.
Stage it, hold the clutch, watch the tree, drop it on green. Manual H-pattern shifting and a reaction time that gets recorded whether you like it or not.
Cold, dense air makes power. The game tells you honestly what tonight is worth before you put money on it.
Search the streets for someone at your spend, your tier, your power, your build year — or anyone brave enough. Work the Ladder, take Jobs, or run test passes alone.
